The Roots Houses
Roots organizes its competitive club teams into Houses grouped by grade, from middle school through high school. Each House trains together through the season and competes in local and travel tournaments. Boys in sixth grade and younger start in the Sprout Training Program.
Athletes strengthen their skills and understanding, building consistency, awareness, and confidence in their movement.
Steady under pressure — refining control, discipline, and the ability to compete with purpose.
Competing with fire and focus, embracing a faster game and a higher standard.
Demanding consistency and toughness — athletes who lead, execute, and stay unbreakable.
Thriving under pressure, leading with confidence and relentless determination at the highest levels.
The Academy's highest standard — preparing athletes to carry their game beyond.
High school athletes play in Blazegrove (9th Grade), Ironbark (10th Grade), Stormbark (11th Grade) and Thornstorm (11th/12th Grade). Through these Houses, athletes build their game with coaching, team practices, and competitive tournament experiences as they prepare for their next stage of volleyball. Roots is a club — not a school team or a school league.
Sprout is a training program for boys in sixth grade and younger, not a competitive House. Young athletes begin their training, learning the game's foundations through repetition, focus, and guidance.
Roster availability changes through the season, so we don’t list openings here. Ask us about a House for your athlete and we’ll tell you what’s available and how to join.
