About Roots Volleyball Academy
Roots Volleyball Academy is a boys-only volleyball club serving the Kansas City metro area. Based at Hy-Vee Arena, Roots helps boys in sixth grade and younger through high school grow through training programs, competitive teams, camps, and clinics.
A Boys-Only Club for Kansas City
Roots is built for boys: from the Sprout Training Program for boys in sixth grade and younger to the competitive Houses that carry athletes through high school. Roots serves families across the Kansas City metro area, and its athletes train together at Hy-Vee Arena.
Our Mission: Engage. Elevate. Empower.
We engage athletes in meaningful development, elevate their skills and confidence, and empower them to succeed both on and off the court.
The House System
Instead of traditional team names, Roots athletes belong to a House — a team that reflects its own culture and identity, each one a stage of growth from the Sprout Training Program to the oldest high school athletes.
Our Coaches
Each House is led by a Head of House with House mentors.
